PADDLEBOARD (SUP) YOGA
Our 1 hour Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga classes are taught by qualified yoga instructors. These instructors enjoy sharing their deep appreciation of nature, and the added benefits that come from practicing yoga on calm water. You will get a brief introduction to SUP, with the majority of the class spent practicing yoga. All poses are introduced gently with modifications tailored to the student's experience level and comfort zone. Practicing yoga on a SUP board encourages focus and being fully present in the moment. Doing yoga on a floating platform "requires full awareness, acceptance of Mother Nature's mood, and some humility for the occasional dip into the water!"

Greta has been practicing yoga since 2008 and completed her certification program from Bhava yoga studio (Vermont) in 2012. After moving to Washington state, she discovered the intersection of her passion for yoga and her love of water sports. She loves traveling, animals, and spreading the tranquility and strength that can be found in both yoga and paddling, and of course in the combination of the two! She moved to New Orleans in 2016 and is hoping to inspire newbies to come out and try a class.
