Rhonda attended UL Lafayette and moved to New Orleans in May of 2005 and is committed to reviving a long forgotten pastime of rowing and paddling in the city. She's very passionate about teaching New Orleanians and visitors about the city's best kept secret of amazing places to paddle.

Having grown up in New Orleans, Chris is no stranger to boating. In 2011 he became interested in kayaking and has paddled rivers from Tennessee to Colorado. He is a paddling enthusiast who frequents the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ponchartrain. Chris is always ready for an adventure and has a broad range of paddling experience including whitewater, open ocean, overnight camping, SUP, racing, and teaching lessons. He also doubles as our camera man.

"Madeleine is a New Orleans native who grew up along Bayou St. John and Uptown. She attends Tulane University where she studies Public Health and Biochemistry. In her free time, she plays beach and indoor volleyball and unwinds by paddling on the bayou."

Jenny attended LSU where she was an LSU Tiger Girl from 2009-2011. She moved to New Orleans in the fall of 2013 after being on the Honeybees for the New Orleans Hornets in the 2012-13 basketball season. She remained in the city dancing in the NBA as well as doing various jobs including being a spin instructor at CycleBar Uptown! Jenny starting really getting into paddleboarding and kayaking this year and loves learning new tips and tricks to make paddling easier. Outdoor activities are always on her radar and she can’t wait to help make the paddling community in New Orleans grow!

Charlie is a 9 year old Golden Retriever Black Lab mix and he is in charge of Customer Relations here at the bayou. He specializes in fetching, greeting, and cleaning up the bayou. Charlie's most happy when he is paddleboarding and swimming.

Grew up in Versailles, MO and spent 8 years in the Navy. He graduated from UNO in 2011 and Tulane grad in 2013.

Clay Kreeling, Crew & Customer Service Specialist

Greta has been practicing yoga since 2008 and completed her certification program from Bhava yoga studio (Vermont) in 2012. After moving to Washington state, she discovered the intersection of her passion for yoga and her love of water sports. She loves traveling, animals, and spreading the tranquility and strength that can be found in both yoga and paddling, and of course in the combination of the two! She moved to New Orleans in 2016 and is hoping to inspire newbies to come out and try a class.

Greta Ramdin, SUP Yoga Instructor

So, grew up in Arizona, graduated from University of Arizona with a degree in Anthropology and Wildlife management. Moved to New Orleans in 2010 to pursue a career in primate husbandry specializing in Gorilla care. Loves all animals but my favorites are my 2 fat house cats. Introduced to SUP just last year and love it. Find hula hooping and running to be my favorite workouts and can't imagine life without glitter.

Sara Fee, Crew & Customer Service Specialist

Kim Whitney graduated from Foothill College in Los Altos CA in 2010 with an A.S. in General Science. She moved to New Orleans in 2010 to continue her career as an Animal Keeper. She was introduced to paddle boarding this year. As a beginner, she is currently working on building up her SUP Yoga skills and sharing the world of paddling with our paddlers.
