Bayou Paddlesports knows you love the bayou and so do we! In fact we love it so much that we host a Bayou Clean Up 2x a year in April and September to keep it clean for all to enjoy. We partner with YLC Recycles, Life City, and Pontchartrain Foundation to pull of this good feeling event. Bring your rubber gloves, grabbers, and your swimsuit and come help us pick up on the bayou.
We like to make a not so fun task fun by providing kayaks and SUP's free during the clean up. We supply you with a kayak or SUP, grabber and a bag and the race is on!!
Prizes will be given for anyone who:
- Picks up the most trash
- Invites the most volunteers
- Recovers the weirdest item from the bayou
