How to use: To start using TICKLESS bathe your pet with a non-chemical tick & flea shampoo and remove any remaining parasites. How does TICKLESS work?
The TICKLESS device emits a series of ultrasonic pulses that are imperceptible to humans, pets or wildlife, but disturb ticks and fleas, thus keeping them away. Ticks climb to the ends of grass, leaves or branches and attach to hosts that brush against them. When you walk in such areas, they sense your smell, the carbon dioxide you breathe out and your movement with their so-called Haller organ. TICKLESS’ ultrasound waves disturb this organ, so they won’t find you.
What is this ultrasound?
Ultrasonic wave is an acoustic (sound) energy in the form of waves having a frequency range above that of human hearing range. The sounds humans can perceive have a frequency ranging from 20–20,000 hertz (Hz). Although dogs and cats hear way better than people, they are not disturbed by the very high frequency of 40 kHz, making the TICKLESS device entirely safe and harmless.

My dog can hear ultrasound, is it not disturbing for him?
No! Although dogs and cats hear way better than people, they are not disturbed by the soundwave TICKLESS emits. Dogs can realize ultrasound waves between 25-30 KHz, TICKLESS is working with 40 KHz, making the device entirely safe and harmless.
Can I use TICKLESS if my dog has epilepsy?
Yes! The ultrasound in the TICKLESS device is outside the hearing range of humans and pets. There has been no evidence found between ultrasounds and epilepsy (ultrasound or sound waves are even used to treat epilepsy seizures).
What if my dog is allergic to certain types of flea collars? Will he be allergic to TICKLESS?
NO, s/he will be not allergic to TICKLESS Pet! The device keeps ticks and fleas away without the use of dangerous chemicals - the ones animals often are allergic to. It contains no toxics
or fragrances, making it safe even for young animals, as well as for elderly, ill, or pregnant pets.
Can I use TICKLESS together with any other tick or flea repellent?
Yes! In areas heavily populated by ticks, we cannot guarantee 100% protection, so any other parasite repellent is an added shield of protection.
Where should I put my device on my pet?
You can attach the Pet device to the collar or to the harness of your pet using the key ring. From the point of view of installation, it does not matter in which direction the grid side of the device faces, this does not affect the efficiency of the device. It is very important not to cover the device as it will suppress the ultrasonic waves! (don't put it under a harness or dress!) The Mini can be attached to the collar or harness with a rubber ring. It is very important that you do not cover this device, as it will suppress the ultrasonic waves!
In which direction should I place the Tickless Pet device onto the collar / harness? Should the grid part be facing to the animal’s body or outwards?
It does not matter in which direction you place the device. The grid part of the device can face the body of the animal, but also outwards. It is important to not to cover the grid part of the device, because you can suppress the emitted ultrasonic waves.
Is it okay if I put in on my dog only for walks?
To ensure its effectiveness, the device should remain affixed to the animal at all times. TICKLESS is effective against ticks and fleas, but while ticks are outside your home, fleas are inside. Fleas are laying their eggs always close to the host, so close to the place where your dog is sleeping. Wear it always to keep the effectiveness!
Does it protect the back of the Pet while wearing on the collar?
Yes! Ultrasound surrounds the body of the Pet within a 1.5m radius, and Mini within 2m radius.
Does TICKLESS provide 100% protection?
In areas heavily populated by ticks, 100% protection is not guaranteed. In case of pets, effectiveness depends on the condition of the animal’s coat. It is not suitable for removing ticks or fleas from pets that have already been infected. To ensure the best possible protection, we recommend taking other precautions (e.g. shampooing) before use.
Is the device waterproof?
The device is highly resistant to moisture (IP31), which means it can be used in rainy weather, and no problem if some water drops on it. If your dog goes accidently into water, dry the device with a cold blowing hairdryer as soon as you can. In case if it's immediately dried out TICKLESS will most probably work flawlessly thereafter but it might affect battery life
What is this IP certification?
TICKLESS is highly resistant to moisture and has been classified as IP31. The IP Code is an international protection marking for mechanical casings and electrical enclosures; it classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against intrusion (body parts such as hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact and water.
What do you advise when animals are outside in the rain – take the device off the pet?
When it rains, you can leave the device on the collar taken that as you get home you quickly dry it out. The only part where rust can take place is between the battery and the linking surface so we recommend you use a hairdryer which can blow out any remaining dampness.
How long does TICKLESS work?
Under average weather conditions (air humidity range between 40%~75%, temperature -20℃～+70℃) the Pet device is capable of operating for 6-12 months.
Can I change the battery?
No! TICKLESS is a closed system, so once you try to change the battery, you can break the device and its effectiveness cannot be guaranteed anymore. By opening the device, you also lose the guarantee we provide.
What does the LED light indicate when I press it?
Until the LED light appears, the device is working properly– and that means emitting sounds, too.
TICKLESS Pet devices operate for at least 6 months after first activation. By pressing the button. You can verify its continued operation at any time since the LED flashes in response.
